Utilization Certificates
A Utilization Certificate (UC) is an official document issued by the Director General or an authorised representative who has been entrusted by the attorney general of India.
This certificate is provided to a Settlement Member in order to provide him/her the formal verification/confirmation on utilization made in the manner indicated in terms & condition specified after allotment of land. In addition to this, such a certificate functions as an instrument of financial accountability too. Such a certificate is supposed to be submitted by second party at the end of each quarters to prove that funds being received in the guise of grant have been utilised in appropriate way exclusively meant towards its designated objective only.
Such certificate needs to be prepared /submited as per format mentioned in Schedule V.
